Adaptive polling for AWS CloudWatch integration Adaptive polling for AWS CloudWatch integration in Splunk Observability Cloud automatically adjusts polling intervals based on recent metric usage, helping reduce CloudWatch API consumption and costs. Adaptive polling is now the default setting for polling. For more information, see Adaptive polling. February 25, 2026
Alert message variables The dateTimeFormat function for alert messages now supports a timezone parameter that allows users to display the alert trigger time in their preferred time zone. New dashboard experience Create dynamic, modern dashboards that support a greater range of visualizations to monitor your data and track key business metrics. To learn more, see Use new dashboard experience. February 25, 2026

Static threshold for alert conditions The Suggested Threshold feature automatically recommends a threshold value based on historical data for the selected signal. This reduces manual analysis, helps prevent alert noise or missed incidents due to incorrect threshold settings, and helps you set up detectors. See Suggested Threshold. February 25, 2026
