Splunk Edge Hub OS release notes

You can collect sensor data and stream it into a Splunk platform instance using the Splunk Edge Hub and Splunk Edge Hub OS.

Note: Upgrading to Splunk Edge Hub mobile for iOS version 1.9.2 and Android version 1.10.0 is mandatory. This update aligns with a certificate authority (CA) certificate, ensures functionality, and prevents connection issues.

This version includes the following fixes:

  • OPC-UA configuration now shows the entries that reflect the state of the file.
  • MLTK integration minor bug fixes
  • SNMP minor bug fixes

Known issues

The following are known issues in this version of Splunk Edge Hub OS:

  • Splunk Edge Hubs cannot be registered using Splunk Cloud Platform version 9.0.2209.2. Use a Splunk Cloud platform newer version instead.
  • When upgrading to a new Splunk Edge Hub OS version, the Splunk General Terms Accept button might not immediately work if you're using Chrome as a browser.
    • Workaround: Use a larger monitor and scroll to the bottom, or use Firefox or Safari as a browser.
