Prerequisites

Before you deploy containers, verify the following requirements:

System requirements

  • Splunk OT Intelligence version 4.12.0 or higher.

  • Edge Hubs with container runtime support enabled.

  • Network connectivity between Splunk OTI and Edge Hubs.

User permissions

Your user account must have the following capabilities:

Capability Description
edge_view_hubs View Edge Hub information and status.
edge_update_configurations Deploy and manage container configurations.
edge_view_configurations View existing container deployments

Edge Hub requirements

  • Internet connectivity for image downloads (if using public registries)

  • Available system resources based on container requirements (see Edge Hub manual for details)
