Fixed issues

Issue Description
Version in topic breadcrumb Removed version from breadcrumb on page of versioned content, which prevented the breadcrumb links from loading properly.
Find (Ctrl+F) on landing pages Searching for specific words using Ctrl+F on landing pages did not highlight and navigate to the next result.
Search bar too large Reduced the size of the search bar.

Known issues

URL redirects Some redirects route to a 404 page.
Formatting issues with generating PDFs PDFs are unreadable.
Generating PDFs for entire content set Unable to download documentation for complete guides.
Permanent link for latest version No stable link available for latest version.
Unable to see latest version No indication that you are on the latest version.
Unable to see which content applies to FedRamp No indicator that you are on FedRamp documentation.
Navigation to Help portal home Top navigation icon does not communicate its target, which is the Help portal homepage.
Navigating from breadcrumbs Breadcrumbs do not link to the parent product landing page.
Automated release notes Due to an incident related to the legacy docs.splunk.com site, automated release note updates are unavailable and have not been updated since the issue began.
Broken links to related content Some links to other Help portal content result in 404 errors.

Stable URL for latest version Unable to to obtain link to permanent URL for the latest version.
Redirects for legacy docs.splunk.com site "latest" URLs Legacy docs.splunk.com site "latest" URLs need to redirect to the latest version on the Help portal instead of the legacy docs site.
Content ready to be consumed by LLMs Content sets and individual topics are not downloadable in an AI-friendly format.
Exact match searches Searching exact phrases, such as JIRA ticket numbers in known and fixed issues documentation, does not always return the right result.
Length of URLs Help portal URLs are frequently longer than best practice recommendation of under 100 characters.
Product Search Filter label in search results Product filter for content without product metadata tags appears as "Product Search Filter" instead of the name of the product.
Search bar in top navigation Search bar moves when selected, making it difficult to enter text.
Zoom in to icons before page load Flash of icons appears on screen before the Help portal page loads.
Table formatting Tables sometimes render incorrectly resulting in overflowing or missing text.
Assistance navigating the Help portal Users need assistance in navigating the new experience.
Guidance for maintenance release versions Need to document how users can find information about product changes in maintenance releases.
Last modified timestamp Make the date of the last modification viewable to communicate content authority.
